Ten percent of all proceeds from Snake’s artwork during this show will be donated to the Desert Outreach Foundation which is dedicated to supporting young people of merit with their academic endeavors and comforting children in crisis at local care and treatment facilities.

This show reflects his intense exploration of abstract art over the past 18 months; a new style with a new look. Also included are a new series of Assemblage sculptural works based on found objects he gathered from the landscape surrounding Palm Springs. These explorations are entertaining to the eye, contain elements of humor, and are also a thoughtful extension of the Whimsical Surrealism style.

Snake is a well know Coachella Valley artist. His work is seen in many locations in the valley, most notably El Mirasol restaurant, where he has shown his work for as long as he has been painting; the Blue Coyote, where you can see many of his wall murals, and many homes and offices around the valley. He has been painting his signature style of desert landscapes, which he calls Whimsical Surrealism for over 30 years and has developed a large customer base over the years.

Show runs March 17 to April 29, 2012
